FORMOSA 1895-1945, The Japanese Colonial History
The "Commemorative Postcard Collection of Japanese Commencement of Reign" issued by Japan-Taiwan Governor's Office, were narrated from the historical viewpoints of Japan, on 17th of June (Taiwan Commencement Day) every year since 1905-1935. There were only 29 sets because the yearly issuing was interrupted in 1913 when Emperor Meiji passed away and between 1926-1931 when there was great turmoil in mainland Japan. In addition, there were no issuance from 1936-1945 since the Japanese invading to China and the World War II. |
